To obtain an Operator's Licence you are required, by law, to nominate a person who holds a CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence). The Transport Management qualification required to obtain an operator licence.

Your Transport Manager, depending on your requirements, can advice and organise all vehicle inspections, book MOT's, organise tachograph calibrations and reseals, take care of all tachograph downloading and keep all your records in order, relating to the terms and conditions of your Operator's Licence. Larger companies can decide if this is a good time to change and put other Non-Operator licenced fleet vehicles onto the contract.
